About Soma Creatives

Soma Creatives was founded in Manchester in 2021 by Aisha Okafor, a commercial photographer and creative director with a decade of experience working with food and hospitality brands across the UK.

After years of watching brilliant restaurants struggle to communicate their quality through social media — relying on iPhone photos and inconsistent content — Aisha set out to build something different: a subscription content studio built exclusively for the hospitality industry.

The idea was simple. Bring agency-level creative talent to independent restaurants and growing groups at a price that makes sense. Monthly subscription, no lock-in, no brief writing, no faff. Just consistently great content, every month.

Three years on, Soma works with over 40 restaurants across Greater Manchester and the North West — from neighbourhood independents to multi-site groups.
